She treated my mom and our family with kindness and patience and never seemed bothered by our endless questions and endless tears.
My mom was admitted to Main 8 a few times over the past couple of years. The entire care team was always great, and Sarah Dudinski always went above and beyond to comfort my mom and my entire family. My mom’s last admission lasted 25 very long, scary days. Being at the hospital every day was a nightmare, but when I walked in and saw that Sarah was our nurse, I always breathed a sigh of relief. She treated my mom and our family with kindness and patience and never seemed bothered by our endless questions and endless tears. She is an amazing advocate for her patients and pays attention to even the smallest detail. One night, a stroke code was called for my mom. It was close to shift change, but she stayed with my mom the entire time, even if it meant she left work two hours late. She did not leave until my mom had settled back into her room, and we were okay. Sarah was truly a bright light for all of us during such a dark time and will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we speak of her often. The world would be brighter if more people were like her. Sadly, my mom passed away a little less than a month after being discharged, but I know that she was able to come home for her last days because of the diligent care provided by the entire team on Main 8.
