Our son was in recovery after surgery at Children's on 6b and Sarah was our nurse for two days and provided excellent care. She took extra time to make sure that I understood everything she was doing and gave me time to talk out every concern we had. When he started to suffer through really unexpected complications, Sarah made sure to get answers as quickly as she could and listened to every concern I had. When we had to go back into the OR, she took us down and made sure I was okay before leaving to go back to the floor. We've spent a lot of days in the hospital in the last 5 years of our son's life and this was the most cared for as a family that we've felt in a long time. We were really grateful to have Sarah on our team when things were difficult.
