My wife had a stroke and was taken by ambulance to Mayo in Menomonie. They airlifted her to Sacred Heart and did a clot removal procedure Monday night at midnight. Then they moved her to CCU. All the nurses were very caring and excellent.
Sarah Jochum far surpassed any contact with other nurses from my many experiences in the past. With my wife having a stroke, I was personally quite afraid. Sarah has a very competent and peaceful nature and ministered to me as well as my wife. She calmed my fear and answered many questions I had. I have never had any nurse do what Sarah did. Very professional.
Personally, I have had 5 back surgeries in 4 years and then a back stimulator put in. I have also recently been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Sarah would remind me to turn my oxygen on and that I had to eat to keep my strength up. In looking at the situation, she took fantastic care of 2 patients. My wife and myself. Thank you, Sacred Heart, for hiring nurses like Sarah. What a Blessing your all are!
