This past weekend, following a procedure in the OR, my daughter experienced a bowel perforation while in the PACU. Sarah was there by her side. Despite the chaotic environment, Sarah's intuition and attentiveness led her to recognize that something was seriously wrong. Thanks to Sarah's quick thinking and unwavering advocacy, the bowel perforation was promptly identified, and my daughter was taken into emergency surgery.
