She helped me get the answers I needed from the doctors and made sure they listened to my every concern.
We brought our mother to the ER with a fall, and my mom was in a lot of pain. After some challenges getting an IV started, nurse Sarita Bhurtel arrived and talked to my mom, helping her relax and assuring her she would do her best. She got the IV started on the first try. My daughter and I trusted her completely because of her compassion, empathy, and kindness. She was very professional and also had her nurse’s way of making you very comfortable with her. My mom wasn’t feeling good that day because of severe pain, but Sarita stayed to make sure my mom received everything she needed, and I truly appreciated her care and concern.

Sarita was one of the best nurses I have ever had, let me tell you. I’ve been in and out of the hospital many times in Dr Sulaiman al-Habib branch. The first time when I met her, she walked into the room where I was kept with a smile and a big heart she kept throughout the day. She walked in, introduced herself to me, and asked if there was anything she could do to make me feel comfortable. She provided me with a blanket and helped me to rest in bed. I just felt like someone was trying to help me, a great feeling to have. She is very knowledgeable in their field of work; she explained all the procedures before she did it for me and also explained all my queries. Plus, I have a wound, which she knew a lot about. I was very impressed with her knowledge. She did everything that I asked for, with no hesitation or questions. She went above and beyond and did her job as a nurse when I needed her most.

The staff nurse at the emergency department, Ms. Sarita, was wonderful in her professional care and went over and beyond her responsibilities to make me, the caregiver, feel welcome and comforted during our stay at the hospital in the adult observation area. She was very kind, and her way of dealing with patients was excellent. Her way of introducing herself and explaining everything she was going to perform to me made me feel calm. She answered all my queries. She took me to a CT scan by wheelchair and provided me with support when I was unable to stand due to my condition. Many thanks for her medical attention, and I Hope staff nurse Sarita does well in her future endeavors in this patient care profession, which is very much in demand and even more appropriate as a rarity in virtue. Many thanks to sister Sarita.

I would like to thank the emergency department for the emotional support and care rendered during my hospital stay. A special mention goes to the staff nurse Sarita, who is from Nepal and truly made her way to our hearts with her kind gestures. We came today in emergency department with our newborn she was vomiting and not feeding well. Miss Sarita was the 1st person who traveled with us from the point of triage to the time of discharge from the hospital. She was extremely patient and helped us and my wife whenever we needed her. She handled my newborn with utmost care and love. My wife was able to bond well with her and she made my wife feel comfortable and helped her to latch baby/hand express milk and also taught us how to get about to handle a newborn. We are grateful and truly appreciate the empathy and compassion received from these lovely people, words can't express how much this meant to us.

She is a very helpful and caring nurse in our department. She is a charge nurse in the ER. She is very polite and effectively communicates with other nurses, physicians, and clinicians in other units and with patients and their families. She always helps everyone whenever needed. She always does a bedside round of patients and helps us in nursing care, too. She shows empathy for every patient. She is under immense pressure most of the time, but she balances following orders from physicians by using their own knowledge, skills, and critical judgment to provide the highest quality patient care. She has a good sense of humor which helps to spread positivity to other nurses, patients, and their families. Many patients enter a hospital or healthcare setting feeling disoriented, confused, and unable to advocate for their own safety. She is one of them who empowers patients through education and engagement and will help them get the best care. Balancing multiple patients, stressful care settings and competing priorities is no small feat during a 12-hour shift. Having effective time management is a key personality trait for nursing, as is being able to concentrate on the most critical issues first — and not necessarily the most demanding patient or family, and she is an example of one of them.

My father was admitted to the emergency department. He had left-side weakness in his body, and he couldn't speak well. We urgently took my father to the hospital. When we reached the hospital, Nurse Sarita in triage asked the history of my dad. She urgently took dad to the emergency room and called the doctor. She took the vitals of my dad, and after an examination was done by a doctor, she activated the code stroke. She inserted the line and took my dad to CT scan fast. The doctor figured out that he had a stroke and needed to be shifted to the cath lab urgently. Then she prepared my dad for cathlab. She explained all the procedures, she assured my dad by providing detailed information about his condition. My dad and family were in a panic situation, but she made us calm down until we were shifted to the cath lab; she continuously observed my dad. She did an ECG and monitored him every 5-10 minutes, and she communicated with my dad to divert his mind. Finally, we were shifted to cathlab after 20min, and it was successful.

I was admitted to the emergency department. I had a fever, cough and severe abdominal pain, and diarrhea. I was suspected of COVID-19 one week before, so they kept me in an isolation room. I was very scared. Nurse Sarita came to me. She introduced herself and took history from me. She is really very kind.  Before starting, she explained to me all the medicine and the procedure she was going to perform to me to make me feel relaxed and not scared. Her hand was so much magic that even when she inserted the cannula, I didn't feel as much pain as I had before. She took care of me the whole day. Every 10-15 minutes, she came and asked me how I was feeling. After an hour, the investigation results came, and the doctor told me for admission, my COVID swab was positive, but she reassured me by providing support and details regarding my condition. Every time she checked my temperature, I wanted to thank her. Her way of communicating and dealing with me was very good. She is professional in nursing care and dealing with patients.

I was admitted due to gallbladder stones, and while the experience was undoubtedly challenging, one individual made it considerably more bearable and comforting - Nurse Sarita. She was extraordinarily dedicated to her role, and her unwavering commitment to patient care left an indelible impression on me. Despite being in significant pain, her warmth and kindness immediately put me at ease. What truly stood out to me was her ability to connect with patients on a personal level. Her words of reassurance provided much-needed solace during moments of distress, such as when it was challenging to establish an IV drip. She ensured I remained warm and comfortable by providing blankets and maintaining a caring presence as I was transferred to the ward. Her attention to detail and careful approach in every aspect of my care were truly remarkable. She is a shining example of what it means to be an exceptional healthcare professional. Her dedication, empathy, and genuine concern for patients like myself make her a true gem among nurses.

It was the first time I went to the emergency department with my wife and child. Both were sick. My wife was admitted in ward and baby with me. The baby was vomiting nonstop and crying. Nurse Sarita came to me and held my baby, provided the baby with milk from a bottle, and fed my baby. She was so caring. At that time, I didn't know how to effectively feed a baby. She cared for my baby nicely. She did all the things so nicely. She explained all the things done for my baby. Communication was very good, and she was very good at inserting lines.

She is one of the nurses in our ER department. She always stands by her duty as a charge nurse. In every emergency condition or life-saving situation, she uses her knowledge and skills to provide quality care to her patients. She has good communication skills with the patients, which makes every patient feel happy. She has a helping hand not only to the staff nurses but also to all the co-workers and helpers for patients and relatives. Her way of dealing with patients is very excellent. She is one of the lecturers on infection control in our department, and her lecture seemed like I would listen to the whole day. Her way of explanation is very good, and all the staff in our department appreciate her.

My mother was admitted to the emergency department after a trauma car accident. She was in a critical situation. She was intubated, and ventilation was connected. We all lost hope for my mother at that time. Nurse Sarita provided us with the empathy to calm down. She took care of my mother for 12 hr during her shift. She made us feel like she was ok. She provided every update about my mother's condition and helped her position her medication.

I was having very severe chest pain, and I had just entered the emergency department. Nurse Sarita asked me what happened. I told her I was having chest pain. She took me directly to the bed of the ER and did an ECG. She immediately called the doctor and activated the cath lab, and within a 60min, I was shifted to the cath lab. Her immediate response and intellectual knowledge makes me feel happy. She was the one before the doctor arrived. She did an ECG and took the vital signs.

My son was only 5 months old and was admitted in pedia observation there very, very ill. She was one of the nurses taking care of us because she could see the fear and pain in my eyes as a mom when my little boy was crying and I felt like dying. And I was crying, and she honestly took care of us both at that moment. She was so kind and compassionate and loving. She helped me get the answers I needed from the doctors and made sure they listened to my every concern. He was not improving, and I believe because of this amazing nurse, my son is now getting so much better. She is more than an amazing nurse. She is an amazing human being with love in her heart, and it radiates from her.
