I just received a delightful call to Administration from the wife of a recent Bossier ER patient. They shared that her husband came to ER for finger lacerations from a table saw injury and was bleeding everywhere. She said, “They got us in right away. My husband was triaged and bandaged.”  The staff told them it might be a wait, but they waited less than an hour.  She said they were placed in the hallway on a stretcher, but they had no issues with that because her husband didn’t need a room.  Everyone was phenomenal, including the doctor who took care of them.  She also shared that Nurse Sasha was phenomenal. She said as busy as they were, they were calmly doing their job.  She said it was like a well-oiled machine and just incredible. She said there is something different at CHRISTUS.  She said people are happy in their job and the whole atmosphere was so different from other facilities. She feels the ER staff need special recognition, and they deserve it.   Again, she said she could not say enough about the CHRISTUS Health System.  

Sasha Anderson is absolutely amazing!  She is compassionate to her patients and considerate of her co-workers. Her skills are top-notch. She is eager to learn new skills and information to better the care she provides to her patients. She is also willing to teach her co-workers. She is a great listener and encourages anyone having a bad or difficult day. Even though she would never admit it, she is a leader. She stays calm and consistent no matter what difficulties she is facing. She doesn't fall into negative talk. She meets change head-on and finds a way to make things happen. She is extremely organized.  Any time I have a question, she either knows the answer or will find the answer.  

I truly cannot say enough how awesome Sasha is!
