Sean came to 4 Ell (where I was pulled) for a rapid response. He was knowledgeable, calm, and compassionate. The patient appeared to be seizing. He knew how to properly assess her, to process all of her vitals and medical history. After the patient was given Narcan, Sean was not at all judgmental. He was really present with the patient. He made her feel safe; all the while he was wiping her brow with a wet cloth and reassuring her. I feel like he really embodied how a nurse should act with compassion and understanding. He really inspired me to be a better nurse. To want to expand my knowledge, be more compassionate, and present with my patients and to partake in excellent healthcare.
