I have known Seth for numerous months while working as a housekeeping aid in the ER. I have witnessed Seth work with other Veterans giving care. I have watched him calm his patients' concerns while receiving care. Seth is a fellow veteran which makes us brothers.
I have recently been going through a very difficult time and Seth has always, out of no reason for himself, been there for me. I have been going through a difficult time in which I had talked to Seth about ending my life. Seth told me that he was there for me, he stated, "I will help you brother, in any way." From taking care of my cats, to loaning me money to even putting me up at his house, he offered help. I was being evicted and for someone whom I only knew as a co-worker, this was more than I could ever have thought about.
When I was placed on the psych unit, I was unable to find someone to take care of my two cats. My cats sat there for two days without food or water when Seth took my keys to my house and took care of them for the next nine days. I called him several times to check on my cats and to talk to Seth. I know that Seth is an Angel who has looked over me and my cats. Living in a world where people pass each other daily and say "Hi", we never know who the people are who truly care, as I found with Seth. Loma Linda VA should be honored to have a nurse at his caliber.
