I am shining a light on Shae because she goes above and beyond for her patients. When you are chronically ill and live half your life in the hospital, it's the small things that matter. No matter how busy she was, she took those extra 10 minutes just to listen and just remind me that someone cared. When a nurse stops and connects to make you feel heard and cared about, it means more than any treatment you can get. You feel loved. Shae is the best and has what you can't teach...LOVE.
