Shae was a blessing to our daughter; it was very hard on E as well as us not knowing the unexpected after her open-heart surgery. As soon as we walked into the room reality hit us as parents to see our child go through such a traumatic surgery. Shae (our angel) having gone through heart surgery herself, was able to talk with us and answer E's every question about what to expect and put our minds at ease; we loved her so much.
Dell Children's gave our daughter the best care. Shae really impacted E in such a positive, loving way as well as being such a professional which put as well as parents at ease. Shae made it so that E is so proud of her scar (her battle wound) and showed her ways of making her recovery so much easier, just getting out of bed and taking care of herself. E is doing wonderful and although we didn't get to say goodbye to Shae, we felt we had to thank her in some way. Much love to Shae Clark and Dell Children's for taking care of our E.
