It's always hard to lose a loved one. It's even harder watching your soulmate and love of your life die. My husband came in ona Saturday because he couldn't swallow. By the end of the week, he wasdiagnosed with terminal brain cancer.I stayed with him every night. Shana, the nurse on call, made sure we had everything we needed, not only for my husband, but she made sure I got the rest I needed.There were times that she came in and sat next to me, comforting me, holdingmy hand, and giving me strength when I needed it.
Our whole familywants to thank her forher compassion anddedication. She went above and beyond the call of a nurse.Every nurse during this week has been wonderful.They've all been our guardianangels. Thank you, Shana Cross.
