Shane, from the second he walked in the door, made the whole room vibe just light up. I was about 8 plus overnighters from major abdomen surgery. He was very polite and genuine, concerned about how I was feeling and what my concerns about my care were. Took notes so he could correctly check on the information I was giving him to assure he could treat me the best way possible. My surgery was done very late and there was a lot of confusion when it came to my food and water intake. Doctors' notes stated one report, the official report differed, but Shane worked his hardest and figured things out. By the end of the shift he had gotten everything done, I was very happy he did. An extraordinary job with great compassion for nursing!
