Her positivity is contagious. Sharon practices nursing in an exemplary fashion giving the best quality care possible.
Sharon has worked for CCH for about 25 years. Through the worst of times, she has stayed on here caring for patients with a smile on her face. Sharon is always kind, friendly, and caring with patients, families, and coworkers. She will spend extra time with patients and their families to make sure they understand their plan of care, medications, procedures, or anything else that arises. She does not “hurry” through her time with each patient, allowing them ample time for questions and explanations. She is helpful to her coworkers, no matter how busy she is, she will always find the time to answer a question, start an IV, explain a procedure, or anything else that is needed. She is respectful and friendly to other departments, supervisors, coworkers, patients, and families. She goes above and beyond to help out where needed. She was recently approached about working as a house supervisor, PRN. She stated “she really did not want to take on this task”, but then she stated, “I know you all need help, so I will do it.” Always putting others' needs and wants ahead of herself, she is an inspiration to new employees as well as seasoned staff. She is a fabulous resource throughout the hospital due to her years working here. Her positivity is contagious. Sharon practices nursing in an exemplary fashion giving the best quality care possible. She takes care of patients like they are her very own family and treats her coworkers the same, making CCH the kind of place people want to work, the kind of place patients want to get their healthcare and the kind of place providers want to practice. Thank you, Sharon, for your dedication to your field.
