Sharon came and was my angel on that day.
I was in a really bad way. I had a traumatic experience with catheters coming out every day, multiple times a day. Not long after I had it replaced again, this time with a bigger “balloon”, I could not stop crying and sobbing in pain. They had given me pain meds, however, they weren’t really working. Sharon had obviously heard me in my bad state whilst she was dealing with another patient and she came to my side to see if there was anything she could do. On that day she was the kindest nurse, she helped calm me down, talked to me like I wasn’t wasting her time, and she had so much compassion. She was amazing and got me to eventually stop crying and comforted me in my darkest moment. I still think about her to this day, whenever I get my catheters changed I think of that time and think of her kindness. She really changed my experience that day for the better. I was needing an angel at that time. Sharon came and was my angel on that day. I will never forget the kindness and compassion she showed me on that day.
