Death is never easy to accept and as much comfort and peace it will bring a loved one, it is the hardest thing to say goodbye. Our family was blessed when Shauni arrived in our room for the care of my dad. Her professionalism, knowledge, and comfort was the true definition of comfort and nursing. As busy as the unit is, Shauni made the extra effort to check on my dad. She did the extra mile to be sure we were good and if we had any questions, she provided answers and even contacted the appropriate people to get answers. My dad will never know Shauni's name, but he will know of how she made him feel. Thank you for making us feel secure.
