"Shawn is always available for the patients on the CVICU; if they’re his patients for the day or O.R. patients that he may have cared for previously. He is always ready for any questions or concerns that patients or co-workers may have. You may find Shawn sitting at bedside with pen and paper or other teaching materials explaining any and all procedures. When he is not here serving his patients, he is also serving his Country in the Reserves and he’s being deployed in about 2 months."
