Shayla is the best nurse I have ever met. She kept me completely informed on my wife's condition and treated her as if she was her own mother, very caring and compassionate. She is the best and I want to thank her for her outstanding healer's touch and for being an excellent employee.

My brother had a scheduled Heart Cath and ended up having four stents placed in two days. He was not expecting this so was not emotionally prepared but I can tell you with Shayla as his nurse and all the other nurses and techs on his floor he made it through. As an employee here you are always a little apprehensive when one of our family members is a patient because you want everything to go well because if it doesn't you will definitely hear about it. I can honestly say that my brother could not have been taken care of any better than he was. He had a second surgery scheduled on Thursday, so he was not able to eat or drink until after his surgery which was at 2:00 p.m. Shayla made sure that he had a great meal waiting for him after surgery and a large Dr. Pepper (his favorite), as well. I am so proud to be a member of the Northwest Health team and so glad that we have such a great nurse on our team as well. Shayla went above and beyond her normal duties and is a true DAISY Nurse.
