What can I say? This sweet soul has been our (my husband and mine) saving grace during the most difficult time of our lives. She is a loving and caring nurse! My husband and I only have each other, and she has made us feel like being a part of her family. We have felt so safe with her care. This sweet lady has gone above and beyond her job.
As I said, my husband and I only have each other. We've been married for 45 years, so we are very close. Shelly fixed me a "care package" and had it delivered to "our room." We never had any idea that our trip to your emergency department would lead to J being hospitalized for five days, (and counting). Not knowing anything about how to get around the hospital, and me not leaving my husband's side, Shelly has taken us in, and made us feel loved, cared for, and safe! This goes way beyond her job. This is awesome, to say the least! She is a shining bright star and is an example of a wonderful human being as well as a number one nurse. God Bless You!
