As a Case Manager for the Department of Human Services, serving adults with disabilities and the aging population, I have the privilege of working with many healthcare providers. Among them, Shelly stands out as an Extraordinary Nurse whose dedication and compassion deserve recognition.

To highlight one specific instance of Shelly’s excellence would not fully capture her impact. Instead, I want to emphasize her consistent commitment to her patients and her exceptional collaboration skills. Shelly quickly became a pivotal collateral contact, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among all parties involved in her patients' care. Shelly is someone I can always rely on to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the individuals we serve, regardless of the circumstances. Many of the homes we visit are challenging environments, and the participants can be difficult to please. However, Shelly’s ability to problem-solve, her willingness to go the extra mile, and her capacity to make necessary adjustments demonstrate her exceptional dedication. Her timely and open communication, coupled with her genuine heart and care for those she serves, make her an invaluable asset.
