Sherman is a strong team member on the Medical Surgical unit and he genuinely cares for his patients. He will take the necessary precautions and actions to provide the best care to his patients. He always puts his patients first. He has excellent clinical skills that ensure that his patients are well cared. The staff reports that his patients are in great hands because he is proactive and nurturing.
He is a great team member and a nursing leader. As a team leader on the floor he can always be counted on to provide assistance and mentor the staff. He is also very capable and dependable when he floats to the ICU unit. He is supportive and enthusiastic and has a great attitude. He helps the staff members and other team leaders when he volunteers to help. He always has a smile on his face and it is always a good day when he works because the patients are well cared for and the unit is in great hands. He is a great nurse to work with. He also assumes the role of house supervisor as needed. He will jump in and portray a positive attitude to make sure that the day is “fantastic” for his colleagues, physicians, other interdisciplinary team members, and first and foremost for his patients.
