From the time Sherri entered my wife's room until her shift's end she was solely focused on my wife, our baby, and me; it was like we were her only patient. On the first day we were in Labor and Delivery, my wife and I were very nervous. At 7 pm, Sherri came in to our room, and she was a breath of fresh air, the day had seemed long with anticipation. What makes Sherri one of the best nurses I have ever encountered is her ability to make everyone feel at ease, feel comforted, and feel relaxed. After Sherri was given report from the dayshift nurse, my wife said "I hope I get to keep her the entire night, she reminds me of my mom." When the time came for us to start "true labor" Sherri was supportive. She helped me and my wife work through contractions, and she always gave me a silent nod to let me know I was doing the right thing. Sherri also made this labor and birth enjoyable, she actually had me and my wife laughing through a contraction.

Thank you for making my wife, my daughter, and me feel so special while in the hospital. You are an amazing nurse.
