Sherry Forbes provided outstanding patient care to my daughter during her stay in ICU. She was always extremely attentive and protective of my daughter. She always answered any questions the family had and maintained strict confidentiality. We were very impressed with her nursing care. We knew she truly cared about our daughter when she visited our daughter on a different floor after she was discharged from ICU. Sherry has excellent nursing skills and a caring heart. She diligently represents the high standards of Children's Medical Center. This nurse, thank you for your care and concern, it's truly appreciated.

Sherry Forbes was one of the first nurses to take care of our 2-year old son after he fell out of our 2nd story window and suffered a traumatic brain injury. My husband and I had never been to ICU and had never been in the hospital for such a severe and traumatic reason, so we were lost, scared and devastated to say the least. When Sherry came in the very first day, she had such a positive, caring and reassuring demeanor that we couldn't help but think maybe our baby will be OK. She was quick and moved seamlessly around all the cables and equipment attached to our little boy. She had good, solid answers for all of our questions and walked us step by step through everything that was happening and could/may happen. She was a source of great knowledge and comfort that carried us through the darkest days of our lives.

After we left the ICU to move to another floor, she stayed in contact with us, always asking about our little baby and always encouraging us to stay strong and positive. Recently, she even made a visit to our house to check up on our little guy. As soon as I saw her at the front door, my heart lit up and my day brightened. She is a wonderful nurse, she loves her job, she is extremely good at it and we were extremely lucky to have her by our side.
