I recently received care at Trinity Hospital for multiple health issues and was the most intense pain I have ever experienced. I was fortunate to have outstanding nurses, aides, techs and doctors. It took many of you to help ease the physical pain, even bringing me all the heat packs available on the floor! I greatly appreciate everyone who helped me to get better.
Along with the medical problems, I felt a lot of fear and anxiety and sometimes it was more than I could handle. At those times, you were the only one that got me through. I was not an easy patient, but you stayed with me through it all.
Unfortunately, through my parents, family, and friends, I have had many experiences with healthcare. There have been many great nurses along the way, but you outshine them all! Some nursing qualities are learned skills, like physical care, but others are an integral part of who someone is.
"Thank you" doesn't even begin to touch how grateful I am for the tremendous empathy, and compassion you gave me along with your excellent care. I am sure there are many patients who feel the same way I do, and that's because we were all blessed to be in your care. With heartfelt and lasting gratitude for the nurse that you are!
