Sheryl Baxter is a charge nurse and frequently recovers patients at the bedside after bone marrow biopsies. This is a test that can painful; and her warm manner and reassurance that she will stay with them until they wake.

As Charge Nurse on the day shift, she is usually the RN who educates consoles and stays with patient thought out the Bone Marrow Biopsies until they are fully recovered. Her gentle & efficient manner is a source of comfort to her patients. She constantly strives to provide support and assistance whenever a bedside nurse needs the benefit of her expansive nursing knowledge her experiences with patient in past care episodes, and her calming and self-assured way of helping and advising without diminishing the care RN in anyway.

She is often the nurse the family and visitors turn to in their grief. She is respectful of the beliefs and values and is also know to support their choices and their deep loss in a caring and compassionate way. It is an honor and pleasure to work with this dedicated nurse, and to observe her in action.
