Recently, WPMH had an extended length of stay patient. This patient's condition resulted in having difficulty speaking, aggressive behaviors and the impossibility to be cared for at home by his family due to his need for "total care". Understandably, this patient's situation "tore at the heart" of many in our WPMH family. Also understandably, finding an accepting SNF for this patient took weeks due to these factors, but Sheryl persisted in helping this patient and his family. Sheryl reached out to their community contacts, told the family to "go in his room and pray", and through GOD'S MIRACLE and the persistence of this nurse, this patient was accepted to SNF.
In addition to an enormous heart, Sheryl is CRAZY smart, with a fantastic wit that keeps us all laughing. We are so blessed to have Sheryl as part of our "WP PRIDE FAMILY"…and to be our friend.
