Silvia is someone whom I can trust to be a team player and help elevate me along with herself.
Silvia is the nurse that you want to work with when you have a million tasks to complete for the day. The energy she shows to provide the best care for the patient is unwavering compared to many nurses. She prioritizes and provides care and access to those that need it when they need it. She is not a sit-around kind of person. Silvia is someone whom I can trust to be a team player and help elevate me along with herself. She is not someone who wants her name in lightS. Silvia is all about making the team look good.
What stands out in my mind when I think of how Silvia has "made a difference" in the life of a patient was one year during the holiday season she brought in a miniature Christmas tree to a patient's bedside. This patient does not have much family and is in and out of the hospital a lot. During the Christmas season, she gave him something to smile about and know that someone cared while being at the hospital. This patient to this day lights up when he sees her.
