At 40 weeks I noticed decreased fetal movement and met Simone for the first time in the Labor & Delivery ED. She immediately calmed my nerves and got me hooked up to the NST machine and we heard my child’s heartbeat. The second Simone was in my presence, I felt peace and knew I was in good hands.

I was transferred to Labor and Delivery and Simone promised she would request me the next day to make sure she was with me for my delivery. Simone appeared the next day and explained each procedure and why it was done. Simone guided me through my delivery, and we welcomed a son with the help of fantastic doctors and nurses. Simone even came in the next day on her day off to check on me.

I still get emotional thinking about how fantastic she was and how I needed someone like her in that moment. She is truly passionate about what she does, and anyone would be very lucky to have her as a nurse. My entire family and fiancé loved her so much. I can’t thank her enough. Sending much love to her from our little family.
