I cannot express how much Skye did for me while I was in your hospital. I totally believe that if she hadn't been there my first few nights I don't know if I would've made it. She was instrumental in helping me feel cared for, understood, and heard, and was an advocate for my care beyond belief. She listened, she hurt with me, she let me cry, she let me laugh, and no matter what the situation was I felt that she was there for me. She was swift to respond when I needed her, and she listened to what I needed and administered anything and everything I needed. She is a credit to your unit anyone that gets her as their nurse is beyond lucky. There were a handful of days when she was off and I just did not do well without her. When she returned, I felt better I laughed better I cried better everything was better. She is amazing I wish she could have been with me the entire time. She is an amazing person. She knew she wasn't going to be with me my last night which was really hard, and she gave me a little Lego nurse of herself which was the cutest thing ever I will cherish it for the rest of my life that's how thoughtful she is. Because she knew she wouldn't be with me my last night we both cried over it that's how wonderful she is. I will always cherish every moment with her.
