I wanted to take a moment to highlight the outstanding work of two of your TTP educators, Skylar Hicks and Lesley Oneill, during my deployment in Florida. From the moment they arrived at Blake Hospital, Skylar and Lesley demonstrated just how impactful dedicated educators can be, even in challenging situations. They immediately took charge, onboarding relief nurses swiftly and efficiently while ensuring thorough training across a variety of essential topics. Their professionalism was matched by their compassion, as they always made time to listen to staff members, providing support beyond their instructional roles.

One particularly memorable initiative they led was the creation of a snack cart, which they used to make nightly rounds throughout the hospital. This simple but thoughtful gesture left a lasting impression, and I’ve since heard from the staff that the “snack cart educators” are still missed and fondly remembered. Without their dedication and hard work, we certainly would have been in a much worse position.

Skylar and Lesley not only exceeded expectations but left a profound impact on the staff at Blake Hospital. Their actions truly embody HCA Healthcare's mission, and I couldn't be more appreciative of their dedication and exceptional performance. I hope to see their great work continue in the Far West division.
