My father's nurse Smitha was everything above and more. She was so compassionate and caring to me and my family at such a difficult time. Smitha anticipated our needs before we even did. And, made sure everything we needed was taken care of and quickly. No questions were unanswered. Smitha took the time and listened. When orders were changed like diet and medications, Smitha followed through and made sure the orders appeared in the computer correctly and called doctors to facilitate them. When the diet changed from NPO to liquids, Smitha brought broth to tide my dad over until his food tray came and we didn't even ask. Smitha made sure we were comfortable and we can never thank her enough.
