Sophie is honestly the most caring, kind person I have ever come across, and she should be immensely proud of the difference she makes to others.
Sophie was my mum's breast care nurse back in 2017 when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Sophie went above and beyond back then. My mum was then diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2021, and again, Sophie was by her side throughout. She was not only there for my mum but for mum’s family too and especially mum and granddaughter. Sophie was just outstanding. Mum had 2 hospital admission one in May 2023 and another in February 2024. Although mum was an inpatient Sophie visited every day to make sure she was ok. Sophie is honestly the most caring, kind person I have ever come across, and she should be immensely proud of the difference she makes to others.
For Sophie to get this award now would mean so much to us as a family, as sadly, we lost our mum in February. When Sophie heard of the sad news of Mum's passing, she phoned us straight away to check-in. If Sophie is chosen for the award it would mean so much to everyone if it was given in mum's memory.
Note: This is Sophie's 2nd DAISY Award!
