We have been through the ER and in the ICU with my grandmother since Thursday and are awaiting surgery. We have encountered many doctors, nurses, and techs within the last 3 days and have been beyond pleased with everyone. Each employee that we have dealt with has been kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, there is one nurse that goes above and beyond in every aspect of his job.
His name is Souleymane Kabore and there aren't words that will do justice in describing his abilities as a nurse and a person. He is so gentle, kind, smart, proactive, patient and so much more! He is so knowledgeable and proactive in every situation. He goes above and beyond what is expected of him. He spends extra time explaining things to my grandmother and doesn't mind repeating the same information multiple times to her due to her age. He is gentle and goes out of his way to make her comfortable.
Souleymane is so patient with the students and techs he works with and, wow, those students are lucky. He takes so much quality time to explain things to them and gives them so many opportunities to learn when I'm sure it would be easier just to do the job himself and move along. He is so attentive to his patients and I honestly think he never sits down.
