Stacey is absolutely amazing. I'm a single mom and she understood how hard this is alone. She always checked on us and made sure we were okay. We really trusted her. She was quick with our emergencies. She treated us like friends instead of numbers. It's exactly why I choose Cook Children's because of nurses like her. She makes me want to continue my nursing degree to be like her.
My son loved her encouragement. He was so excited to show her he could do the breathing thing to the squirrel several times and walk the hall. She made him feel amazing. Thank you for having such an amazing nurse like Stacey!

My son was admitted to the hospital for fever and lethargy. Stacey, immediately upon caring for my son, went above and beyond. She not only did her job but made sure she could do everything possible to help my son and myself. This level of care is hard to find. All the nurses here have been good, but Stacey is excellent and a special nurse. She connects with patients and family on a personal level making me feel so much better about his care here at Cook Children's. She made sure I was taking care of myself so I could be strong for my son.
