Stacey is an Extraordinary Nurse. She came to us from Herrin after they didn't need an agency nurse any longer. Stacey is one of the best agency nurses I've worked with. She is always early, she is positive up beat, always up for the challenge, great patient care and you never hear her complain. She may have the hardest team, but she will say "Just doing my job." I've never had a patient complain about her. Stacey drives from Springfield to work here. She fits into the St. Joe's culture and family very well. She has extended her contract because she enjoys working here at St. Joe's. It doesn't matter the task at hand Stacey is up for the challenge. Recently Stacey had a med/surg patient that became critical. She needed to start drips. Stacey called for reinforcement, the team jumped in, and we got the patient taken care of. Stacey looked at me and smiled "I'm just that Med/Surg Nurse." I smiled back and said you did an awesome job with the challenge you faced.
