Stanley King saved my husband's life when he was admitted on July 12. Though he did not arrive via Med-Flight, Stanley was in the ER and according to Dr. David Jones, worked endlessly to save his life when the situation looked very bleak. He never gave up on him. Often I would see Stanley in the CCU checking on my husband during the 10 days he was there. He had no true reason to do that other than the compassion in his heart. His knowledge and compassion are just 2 of the reasons he deserves a DAISY Award. We were so blessed by him being there that day. We were lucky enough to see him on our last day at the hospital, where we got to personally thank him. 32 days in the hospital was a long time, but we were constantly in good hands. Stanley King stood out to us and we are forever thankful to him and believe he deserves such an incredible award.
