I am a disabled veteran with many medical issues, problems, and concerns. Approximately a year ago I was assigned a new doctor and nurse on the Purple Team at the Indianapolis VA Hospital. I have been seen at this facility since 1992 and have never had a nurse quite as spectacular as Mrs. Starie Daniels. She has gone well above and beyond her job description to not only take care of my medical needs and concerns, but she has assisted in appointments with different clinics, doctors, and surgeons at the VA, as well as non-VA healthcare. With a few minutes going through my chart, any medical professional can see with her proficient, prompt, accurate, and detailed documentation that she is a true professional. Mrs. Daniels sets the bar high for other nurses and leads by example. She should not only receive the highest possible review when that time comes, but any promotion available (as long as she stays my nurse). I can only imagine where I would be medically if it wasn't for her dedication, concern, knowledge, and professionalism.
