Stephanie Copeland turned a negative experience into a positive one. I was on day three of my stay and there was an issue with my baby's oxygen level. I discovered the issue at 11:00 p.m. after having a hard medical day with my infant. I was stressed, tired, and overwhelmed. I had zero patience and was not overly warm with Stephanie. She handled it beautifully. Stephanie met me at my frustration level and validated my feelings. She went above and beyond to turn my experience around. She showed me in detail how the equipment worked and ensured that our baby was getting the oxygen she needed.
We continued to have Stephanie for three more night shifts. Her attitude was amazing. She was attentive to my child and did extra spot checks to ensure I was comfortable with weaning. She is truly a leader and always had a smile on her face. She took a horrible experience and turned it into a great one. Cook Children's should be proud to have Stephanie on their team because she is an amazing nurse, she is personable and gives excellent customer service.
