We were lucky enough to have Stephanie care for us for 3 nights in a row while I recovered from an unplanned C-section. From the moment she introduced herself, she made us feel comfortable (including both physically and emotionally), she has a lighthearted spirit, and was patient with every concern we had. Our family experienced some difficult news including developmental hip dysplasia for our newborn, as well as a pretty severe tongue tie which impacted breastfeeding. As a new mother, I had concerns I was doing something wrong and was really feeling down about everything. She reassured me and provided comfort and education throughout both processes and made me feel more at ease. She truly exemplifies the knowledge, compassion, and patient-directed care that is so foundational as a nurse. If there were more people like her in the world, it would be a better place.
