Stephanie communicates her expectations of her team clearly and shares her vision for improving the work environment. She has great ideas for how to have fun in the workplace as well as strive for nothing but excellence in everything we do.
Steph is the most helpful, understanding, and flexible manager I've ever had. A specific example includes that when she started her position as manager, she took the trauma nursing certification class with us and stated, "If I expect the staff I'm leading to know these skills, I should know them as well to be able to help." That's when I knew she was a perfect fit for what can be a high-stress and difficult job. She is more than willing to jump in when needed and have difficult conversations/confrontations. She does her job with confidence and makes me feel supported when things aren't easy. I feel as if I can go to her with any issue despite what happened. I appreciate her and the work she does in her position tremendously. I can go to her for anything I feel needs to be changed with the facility or ways we can make the process of the workday improved. She is also motivated to improve the processes for her staff on her own and brings new ideas to us to discuss. She is always ready with resources to better help the team that she manages. She handles the most difficult days with elegance, ease, and confidence that makes it easy for me to strive to be better and help turn the day around. Despite what may be happening, she's always able to give even just a smile, which can be helpful when things are stressful. Her dedication to her job (especially when winter storms occur) is inspiring. She truly deserves to be recognized as a fantastic leader, manager, and co-worker.
Stephanie is an excellent leader. The nursing department has been short-staffed since the beginning of the Covid epidemic, and she has now hired on new team members with great energy and is reforming and revitalizing her nursing team. Stephanie communicates her expectations of her team clearly and shares her vision for improving the work environment. She has great ideas for how to have fun in the workplace as well as strive for nothing but excellence in everything we do. Stephanie shows how much she cares about each person on her team as individuals as well as the team collectively as a whole by doing things such as sending messages just to check in, and planning and organizing department parties. Stephanie works tirelessly to provide her team with the best environment she can for her nursing team to do the work they are called to do.
