Stephanie Hand is the most compassionate nurse we have seen. She develops strong connections with each of her patients and is willing to come in on her days off just to say goodbye. She is always pleasant, generous, and willing to go above and beyond for not only her patients, but also their family members and her coworkers. No matter how busy Stephanie is, she will take the time to answer questions and lend a hand to anyone in need with a positive attitude and smile on her face. Steph makes a great charge nurse and team player. She not only has a close relationship with her RCU coworkers, but with employees all over the hospital including: Environmental Services, Denali Dining, therapists, and house supervisors.
Stephanie is very smart and extremely eager to learn. We constantly hear her talk about how much she loves working specifically with renal patients and she is the best advocate for their care. Each day she carries out the mission and core values here at Providence and our unit is very lucky to have her as part of the team. We always look forward to the days we work with Stephanie!
