I could hear other patients saying they were hungry, and my wife said she was thirsty. She took care of everyone, all patients, and still went above and beyond when they would call.

Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I had major surgery 19 days before and was having a heck of a time with bleeding and pain. This was my third visit to the ER since surgery, and my pain was out of control. She showed such empathy and understanding of my experience so far post-surgery. After seeing the doctor and, among other things, ordered, I should be provided with pain control. She was attentive and made sure my pain was controlled completely. After my first dose of pain medication, she realized I was not doing ok if I moved and advocated for proper pain management. She also ensured I understood the follow-up and home care and clarified with the doctor when I didn't. She was happy to help me to the restroom and provided snacks when my glucose levels got too low. She was kind and empathetic, and my experience was so much better than I had anticipated and received in the past. I wish she could be my nurse all the time!!
