Stephen was our nurse when we came out of emergency surgery at around 3 a.m. He was compassionate and understanding. He put our son at ease and helped us as parents better understand the recovery process, ultimately helping to get through the process. Stephen demonstrated exceptional knowledge about the medications, treatment, and surgical procedure. Our son developed a fear of healthcare providers while here, but Stephen could always calm him and perform needed actions without him screaming or becoming extremely anxious. Stephen also made sure to keep IV machines from beeping unnecessarily so that both patient and parents could rest. We greatly appreciated his help during our difficult time!
