Our surviving twin was in the NICU for 136 days and Stevi was her primary night shift nurse. Stevi loved our girl from day one. She was there for the delivery and was on the "Twin B" care team, which was our daughter. Stevi took such great care of our girl and always cuddled her at night when we couldn't be there. Knowing that Stevi was there at night made it so much easier to leave the NICU every day. I called every single night to check in on her, and Stevi was always ready to provide a detailed update.

Stevi also made so many adorable crafts with our girl. Ones with her handprints and footprints; memories we will cherish forever. She even made sure to include our son, who didn't survive. She would make crafts that included the twins together, which meant so much to us. Stevi is very compassionate and caring, and she had our girl's back.

A lot of the staff joked that they never got to take care of our daughter if Stevi was there! They all said she was a baby hog when it came to our daughter. Stevi became a lifelong aunt to our girl and became family to us! She went above and beyond when it came to caring for our girl. We are so grateful for her!
