Susan has loyally and passionately served as an RN in various capacities at Bryan Health for almost 40 years and currently works in the Performance Excellence department. I have seen her exceptional ability to draw upon her RN clinical expertise while leveraging her process knowledge to deliver sustainable improvement results in aspects like employee safety, hourly rounding, and patient harm events. She provides personalized coaching to the nurse leaders, meeting them where they are at, and walking this journey hip to hip with them, always 'motivating and appreciating.' She is our department specialist in efforts to implement clean and organized workplaces with the goal to improve workflow so that staff can spend more time at the bedside caring for their patients.
