I would like to thank Lana Donkoglo because she was compassionate and the quality of her work was outstanding. She was extremely nice and attentive to my health needs, and described all the instructions of what she was doing and the medication to where a layperson could understand it. She was on time when I hit the nurse sick call button and was never tired, but was upbeat and fully alert.

Lana has proven herself to be an invaluable member of the Ortho team. She is thorough and accurate in her assessments. She is kind and compassionate to her patients. She really listens to them and takes their feelings and needs into consideration when in her care. Lana has the ability to remain calm during times of crisis or when working with patients with physical, mental, or age-related issues. She is approachable and non-judgmental. Staff members and patients know they can come to her without fear or condemnation when a question or concern arises. She has taken on the role of preceptor, which has allowed her the opportunity to share her knowledge, technical, and clinical experience to those lucky enough to have had her. Lana is quick to smile and slow to anger. She has a wonderful sense of humor and often lifts up the spirits of those around her. She is truly a blessing to our unit and to the population we serve.
