Sydney spoke to my wife and explained the things she was doing as if my wife was alert and understanding.
Sydney took the time to explain everything she was doing while taking care of my wife. If an alarm went off on a machine, she told me why and what she was doing to resolve it. When she would care for my wife, she would talk to her and tell her what she was doing and apologized for any discomfort that may have been caused even though my wife was sedated and not responding. Sydney spoke to my wife and explained the things she was doing as if my wife was alert and understanding. Sydney would frequently check on me as well and update me anytime she could even when there were no changes. When others would come in to help she would introduce them to my wife and me and explain what they were going to do. Sydney seemed that she was at work because she legitimately cared for her patient's well-being. Sydney always treated my wife and me kindly. She would take the time to explain things, ask if I had any questions about what was going on or what I should expect. The way she interacted with my wife and me along with the other staff made me feel that my wife was in good hands. Sydney was a joy to have as part of my wife's care team.
