Hello. I am so sorry this email hasn't found you sooner. I had it drafted, and unfortunately, after my father passed, my brother fell ill, and I have been helping him to this day. But I want this special nurse who took care of my father to be recognized on the highest level. Tamica Johnson (ICU/CCU nurse!!). She was so compassionate, helpful, and understanding; she was a shoulder to cry on, a brain to pick with the tons of questions we had, a hand to hold, and most of all, she was knowledgeable! My entire family absolutely adored her!! She was more than a nurse to us!!! Even though the floor was short-staffed and, she pulled an extra shift (which we were so happy to have her for more hours!) She never showed any signs of being mad, stressed, or irritated. She just kept being compassionate about her job. She even called to check on my dad the day she was off!!! And she took time to show her respect at my dad's viewing!!! We absolutely will never forget her. She gave the ICU floor an amazing rep! The doctors, other nurses, and techs were amazing as well, but Tamica was extra special! She deserves a huge round of applause!!!!
