I am proud that you are an integral part of the nursing team at ECRH-SNF-76-1 Unit-Gracewood Campus. Your commitment, compassion, and commendation reflect all the principles of the DAISY Award that you embody. It is with great honor and pride that I nominate Tamiko Byrd as a phenomenal nominee for the DAISY Award. Where do I start, Nurse Tamiko Byrd traits began with her excellent interpersonal skills and authentic interest and respect to others. She goes well beyond what is expected of her to make sure that everyone's needs are met. She is effectual, efficient, and empathetic, and no one is more or less important than the next. They are all important to her. The quality of care that you provide to the individuals is noteworthy and very much appreciated. More than anything, though, the individuals and staff love her compassion and dedication to providing phenomenal care, and that makes her stand out from her peers. Her attention to detail, focus on efficiency, and positive attitude create who she is: a skilled professional and someone we trust and value every day. There were several occasions where she was able to keep our individuals and past employee from harm by being in the right place at the right time. Tamiko Byrd is one-of-a-kind.
