Tammy Burke helped me witness the most beautiful and magical delivery. Tammy had a patient that was a surrogate. She had the biological parents in the room. Everything was going as planned. Tammy wanted to make this special and memorable for both families. She went to Dr. Towle and asked if the biological mother could help with the delivery of the twins. He agrees with the plan. Tammy also wanted it to be special for the family. We suited up biological and surrogate grandparents and husbands of both ladies. Dr. Towle supports and assists the biological mother in the delivery of her twin girls. The biological father cut the cord while the surrogate father took pictures. The staff watched as the biological mother delivered and welcomed the two babies. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. It was because of her, the experience will never be forgotten for either family.
