All the nurses in the hospital are really amazing and we really feel that we are lucky to be served by these angels. However, one of our nurses, Tammy Ellis, was completely a different kind of angel........ I really feel it is very difficult for me to write something about Tammy because I really feel that there are no words out there can explain how Tammy is an amazing "person" and outstanding nurse.
We came to the hospital to deliver our first child...we have no family or friends to support us or share with us our unique moments. Specially we got this baby after 6 trials of IVF...we were scared and sad to say the least! In our culture, family and friends should be with us in such time, but unfortunately, that was not possible. Tammy was helping us not like a nurse, she was helping us like an angel. She was so dedicated to help us from her deep heart with her full emotions with us. She cried for us and with us. She felt every moment with us as if she is a mother or sister. We were hoping to have a family with us and she was the one. She felt with us the joy and the sadness. She did all what a mother or sister can do, and the unique part is that she did it while she is in full joy and feels that she just did not do anything. She did not give us only the outstanding and unique nursing service, but she went out of her way to serve us and went deeply to give us the emotion of the family that we needed. I am sure that you agree that she is Angel! When her shift ended and she had to leave, she said I will come back to check again on you and see if you need any help. She came back on the following day while she is not working, just to see if we are OK. When she served our one-day old baby, he felt like this is his mother, and when she served me, I felt my mom is with me and not alone! This is the angel God sent to me from nowhere after I was very scared and sad!
